Lecture July 25!
The CCC is proud to
announce the return of FIDE Master Andrey Chumachenko
(2435)
who will give a 3
hour lecture at the Dowd YMCA on Friday, July 25 from 2-5 pm. His
presentation, which is open
to the public, is entitled "Play
Like Karpov." Chumachenko
will discuss what separated Karpov from other
players, using carefully selected examples of
Karpov's games and conclude with a round of
puzzle solving. The meeting room on the 7th
floor is a perfect venue. All $10 attendance fees
paid to the Master. Please welcome Andrey back to
Charlotte by participating in this great event.
