USCF Admits Clerical Error!?
No individual Under 2200 Section

According to NCCA President Randy Wheeless's latest posting on the NCCA website, www.ncchess.org, he did communicate with the USCF after observing that the TLA which he had submitted and was correctly published in the September issue, had somehow been changed in the October issue?!  (When one observes the original TLA, it is easy to understand how the error could have been made.) I applaud our president for acting promptly. I never accused him of anything. I only pointed out a critical difference in the ads which would surely have caused confusion at the site. Unfortunately, there will still be some out-of-state players who will not get the word?!

Good luck to everyone at the North Carolina Open. If you want to get a quick tune-up, why not compete in the Quaker Steak IV this Saturday, October 27. LF
