005 - Hi Leland: Just for informational purposes, Jared's rating in the December Supplement is 1674, not 1569. Thanks, Rob
005a - Rob: My bad. It may not have been upgraded in the USCF database when I observed it. The correction has been made. However, upon closer examination, it appears as though the FCB XV was actually rated twice?! (040807401 & 040807417) The results of both events affected the "regular" ratings only...twice as good for players who had great results; twice as bad for those who didn't?! (The director listed is: Rob Morse!) Was it supposed to be that way or is this simply another USCF administrative error?

Hope both of you can join us for competition at the CCC soon. Regards, Leland
005b - Leland: You are right about the double entry.  The USCF made the mistake all by their lonesome.  They are aware of it.  Unfortunately, they said it will take some time to correct.  Instead of rating FCB XVI, they rated FCB XV again.  Thanks for checking though. Rob
005c - Rob: If you were to click on the "USCF Rating History" button on the "News & Views" page, and enter YOUR name, you will see "Tournament Director."  Click on that and you will see that FCB XVI has, in fact, already been rated! For heaven sakes don't let them do it again!! LF
005d - The problem was addressed a few weeks ago so they probably got the FCB XVI finally rated.  The big problem for them was removing the other one.  Also, in case you haven't heard, the USCF is setting something up where the director will enter in all the rating info online.  Updated ratings would then be posted right away.  Sounds like a cluster waiting to happen but you never know.  Rob
