Leland, Congratulations to the three of you for winning the raffle drawings.  When my son pulled those three names, I was initially quite excited to see that all three winners were friends of mine.  I attempted to calculate the probability of that in my head on the drive home, and realized the countless permutations and combinations that would have made that statement true.  I appreciate the continued support members of the Charlotte Chess Club have displayed to the SCCA in the last several months, and I look forward to future collaborations for chess growth.  I want to congratulate Patrick and Amanda.  I wish the best of times for the both of you.  I also want to welcome NM Justin Daniel back to regular competition.  It’s always good to see a player of his caliber thrown back into the mix.  Finally, I want to thank each and every one who participated in all five rounds, and I hope this whole arrangement encouraged more people to participate on a regular basis.  Next stop, Bertucci's.  See you there!
