Hi Leland, This is Ken Vega writing.  I played once in the Charlotte Club a couple of years ago but I religiously follow your website on a weekly basis and feel as though I know all the players.  Please post this message on your website because I would like to congratulate Chris Mabe on his recent achievement in becoming a National Master.  This is quite an accomplishment, considering that only a very small percentage of chess players reach this coveted title. (Feel free to let me know the exact percentage.) I've been following Chris since he was rated in the 1900's and is nice to see him finally reach the master title.  Now, I'll follow Laura Lee and Samuel Xin and wish them lots of luck.  Although, at the rate they are going, talent and not luck will get them there in the near future.  Leland keep up the great work and hopefully I'll be joining you guys soon, since now I have a job that will allow me to.  Best regards.  Ken Vega. ************************************************ Ken: Hope you can join us at the club, soon!
